It's impossible to do more than 50% damage to the Rotten Roast with just the IGR cannon at Lv1 BEFORE using the Energy Canister. This further means that it's impossible to do 100% AFTER using it, meaning that it can't be beaten.

Dearest Lace -

While I do rather appreciate the gift at this... Turbulent time, I must rather regretfully inform you that gravity cannot be changed. The reasons for this are two fold. The first reason being that I tend to think of gravity as a constant, something that SHOULDN'T be screwed with. The second reason, of course, stems from the massive level-redesign that would ensue, as all the levels with the space enviroment are in fact based off of standard Cave Story physics. An obvious example would be the jump to the upper level of Observatory Platform. I intend for it to be impossible (save by damage-leaping off a Proximity Mine), as to somewhat force the player (albeit unconsciously) to seek another means to the upper level. It is this kinds of lesson and logic that are core the the playstyle of this mod. As such, I won't be using this in The Dark Platform; but it may perhaps find use in a future project, say... Space Story.

Ps. I've also noticed you removed the little splashy-things from exiting an airlock. That I do rather like. I could definantly use that.

While I'm probably the posterchild for the slogan "death is no excuse to stop working", I will be taking a week (more like a day) off from modding. That said, I noticed, that in my begriefed state, I missed numerous errors in the mod that was released Sunday (I got the phone call right before I finalized the package). Most notably, the Airlock tile shift to reveal the crate on the appropriate side always revealed the right side, regardless of where you were, and the Deleets in Internal Defence are strangely placed in mid-air right before the exit (as a result of slackerus alphatestos, or "Lazy Alpha"). I've, therefore, corrected these errors, and have uploaded the corrections to the appropriate location. That said, all previous download links should still work. It should be a simple matter for replacing. All of that said, I'll be back on the forums on Sunday... Or Tuesday.

Ps. I'm sorry I failed. ^^;

After much thought, I've realized something: The first view I got of the Droll replacement would actually be useful in a later level as the Inactive Mechs in the background. Additionally, epic work. You should get paid. Too bad I's broke. ^^;
