And you don't need to <FAO when you use the teleporter, you can use <MOV

@Fuzzy: Not yet, and congrats on getting it. Will have to make it harder... The directional controls are what you need to get the Booster 2.0 AKA __________.

EDIT: Thanks Jacob, you made the teleporter scene look much better, and run a little smoother. Plus you eliminated 64 bytes of useless script.

Or rather, your suggestion did.
Either way, now I can randomly use teleports.
Also, to Pixel (if he ever read this...) Thank you for the MOV command.

EDIT EDIT: Ummm... Using <MOV instead of TRA causes some funny glitches one the third+ run through the teleport... Will have to disable it after.

Yeah, I'm either going to make it harder (more enemies, harder to see, ec...t.) or put it in a later part of the game (the logical course of action.).

Either way, I'm going to be working on room 3 (redoing the teleport script) and 4 (new script).

Ummm...

Boss fight (I hope), room like the outer wall, script fixes, more story.
A lot is planned.
Version 1.7 won't be released until next week.
Maybe later.

Anyways, I'm getting a lot of help on this from Internet Stranger and Lyger.

And for the record, Internet Stranger is someone we all don't know... Or know very well.

You do know how to make a boss fight right?

If not, just give the "boss" an event number, lets say 350, give it the flag 200 (Call event on death). So event 350 will play when it dies.

The trigger event, we will make it a H/V trigger (0046), make it vertical, flag 1000. Event 300. In event 300, just put

<KEY<MM0<WAS<MSGDo I need to choke a bitch?<YNJ0301<CLRoh btw,<WAI0010 you are the bitch.<NOD<CLR<CLO<WAI0100<BSL0350<DNP0300<END

this is just an example, feel free to play around with it and ask me a question or two. For major bosses, its best for you to copy script from the original Cave Story.

If you go through the teleporter second complete trip, the teleport in and out NPC's appear in random locations, and it just gets worse...

Okay, I've played through this a coupla times now, looks pretty NIFTY so far, just a few aesthetic things I noticed:

-When grabbing the cloaking device, the critters below you will continue to jump and spin, might want to put <PRI in there instead of <KEY
-Speaking of which, they starting following you as soon as you walk above them, so by the time you get back they're all bunched up against the platform edge and can be easily killed for much exp. Maybe set a v-trigger in there so that they only become active when you enter the passage?

I think you should lessen hosting of your updates. Not fun to learn the story so gradually.... or is there not yet a story?
