The Community-driven Cave Story Fanfic

Basically, the purpose of this forum-based game is to create a Cave Story fanfiction, sentence by sentence.

Everybody dies, the end.

 

As Ballos emerged from the ruins of the island, all around him were rubble and corpses.

 

The little man was in the rubble but Ballos didn't see him

Balrog and Puu are soap friends, until Balrog finds out that Puu cooks mimiga at his restaurant.

 

Ballos decides to visit the restaurant.

 

Ballos asks for a Brandtini, as he is really in the mood for a drink

 

But Brandtini was merely a hallucination, just like the whole restaurant.

 

It turns out that Ballos has tourette's syndrome, how painful, it makes this eternal suffering on this island, in this chamber, all the worse for him.

 

Ballos, not knowing what to do, looked up the the heavens and screamed...

Meanwhile, an army of communist Mimiga invade the Bushlands. (aka Grasstown)

 

sadly puu came in and said "you shall all be my next meal" and took them all for his restaurant

The restauraunt was a hallucination, remember?

 

As the hallucination of Puu disappeared the communist Mimiga had an existential crisis over whether they were even real, allowing Chivalry, having faked his death earlier, to steal the crown unopposed.

 

"This artifact shall grant me immense power... Oh Demon Crown! Grant me your strength! And turn me into the sorcerer of death and carnage, for I shall cast a thousand suns of fury onto my enemies who so mocked me many years ago! Their control over me shall no longer be held, for I will return a grip of ever-lasting darkness!"
The Demon Crown swirls around Chivalry, consuming the air around itself, before Chivalry's body was swirled in, puttering out into a cloud of bloody smoke.
A brief pause of ceaselessness occurred, as the Crown and Chivalry were nowhere to be seen. Moments later, Chivalry phased back into reality, touching down onto his previous plane of existence once more, a scarlet light fills his eyes as he collapsed to the ground, shivering.
"The power... it hurts... but it feels good..."
He took up to his knees, slowly limping out of the room, continuing his search for more power, and to understand the destruction he began wielding. In the midst of his exit, two figures sprang forth after Chivalry, two mimiga wielding blades; they pursued forth, lurking behind Chivalry, swords in hand, knowledge in place, they witnessed the beginning of the next Demon Crown holder, but un-wavered to let another wave of madness ravage The Island again - they pressed forth after him.

My mistake, I got too caught up in writing lol
And I saw Andwhyisit talking about Chivalry taking the Crown, and in the Aeon Genesis translation, Momorin says "Chivalry is dead I'll tell ya that." and I put my own pieces together and was like Yeah, Chivalry can be the new Demon Crown Bearer
