In case you haven't noticed all theories get holes poked in them. It is also true that your theory is both far-fetched and based on very little fact. You need to use fact to support your theory.

For one the mimigas could have forgotten over time that they were once human.

Another is that Misery turned the humans into a different species (mimigas) long ago and in their new form they bred and over time forgot what they once were.

And it could be that the mimigas remember but say nothing thruout the game, it's not like they really have a reason to give you their whole life story.

Or they could just be human-rabbit hybrid lifelike robots.

The only cat I remember seeing in the game was Monster X, and he wasn't exactly a giant cat.

And about the rest. I think that the island is just one big trash heap for failed magic experiments.

And with the Crown Bearers it's possible that with that power you can change your form (much like what happened with the Doctor and the Red Crystal) to something they like better.

If you listen to the doctor the red crystal is pretty much just a concentrated version of the red flower.

That they could have been human is perfectly possible, actually. We already know misery (and probably the crown-wearer) can change humans into Mimigas, and that they've been around forever. But if Misery really had intentions of creating Mimigas for their experiments with the red flowers, she would have gotten Kazuma, Momorin, and Booster as well. Besides, if Misery wanted to waste energy creating a new race of creatures, she probably try to make something more dangerous/useful that little bunnies. My guess is that the race was already there, and Misery saved some creative thinking by changing people into mimiga instead of making something else up.

I also don't think Mimigas are robots, because unlike Quote and most monsters they don't explode when they die, they fall over and lie there, then eventually flicker and fade away. I think Pixel did that to show they actually died; they didn't just break.

Those crystal elements are in the flower, they are extracted, purified (concentrated) and formed into a crystal.

Because it is different. It is a different form and that changes things about it even if it is just a more concentrated form it's still a different one, a more powerful what.

And even if it wasn't a different form it's still a more powerful form and that changes what it does.
