(~You have to watch on youtube~)

Daniel Remar, maker of Iji, Hyper Princess Pitch, Hero Core, Hero, and many others...
Here's his latest project :

Although I find it odd to be a fruit, I'm looking forward to it lol
Love all the stuff he makes so...

Also, here are his presentations at No More Sweden 2012 :
(The first presentation is on a mini-visual novel released in his Scrap Pack 2 games. Pretty heavy stuff, skip to 6:40 for the presentation in which he also revealed the Strawberry game... or skip to 9:30 for information about the game.)

Oh, also 11:24 ^ BRO?

This looks excellent. I still haven't played Hyper Princess Pitch (was turned off a bit by its mediocre reception) but I'll definitely be grabbing this when it's ripe.

Well duh it's a game where you play as a rectangular strawberry who explores a fortress.

Also who cares about a games reception when it gets released? I would play any good game that didn't have a single player who bought / downloaded it.

Haaaaa I see what you did there

Anyway yeah I stumbled across this on my own a week or two ago when I just happened to visit remar's homepage by chance. It looks interesting and full of his usual care, so I'll definitely play it when he's done.

A little bizarre. But interesting. Haven't heard of Iji, though. Should look into it?

My memory must be playing tricks with me, I thought it was a strawberry exploring a rectangular fortress.
I can't view videos though, so I have no idea.

I wonder if Remar put that reference there to remind himself to make this game...

Now that I know that this game is referenced to in Iji, and if this game is free, then I'm definitely getting it. >:\

Related to Iji, a news update on Remar's site :
17 October 2012
Iji on Indie Games for Good
Iji will be played on the Indie Games for Good marathon that starts on October 19th, and all donations will go toward Child's Play. One donor during the marathon will also be able to lend their name to a character in my next game!
http://iggmarathon.com/
It's currently live! Not sure when Iji will be played...

EDIT : Looks like it will have some interviews with some indie developers too?
EDITEDIT: Darn, looks like I missed Cave Story!
Here's the schedule for the live stream :
http://iggmarathon.com/schedule/

Oh oh oh, this looks really good and interesting. I'm gonna play it ASAP, thanks for the link.
To think I almost passed on Cave Story and Iji due to it looking dated... [Years ago...]
It wasn't until I saw this trailer that I felt compelled to give it a try, and I've loved it ever since.

Notes :
It runs differently on every computer I've tried it on (the boss battles mainly), but most of the game should run smoothly. I don't know how to fix that D: Just a heads up...
Also there's a higher quality music add-on if you want. (Should be on the same page as Iji's download.)

Iji was amazing, so I have high hopes for this game. From what's seen in the trailer it looks very interesting.

I think they are air bubbles as he swims through a vast empty space of water...

But that would be interesting too :p
