Hahah SP. I never once said that The Underside was a ripoff.

That was my first thought upon hearing it.

This was about getting the Life Capsule's music in Cave Story and how my first thought upon hearing it was Metroid music.

White on Grey = WTF were they thinking.

This was about their bad choice in color scheme on their website. For you to think I said this is because I "didn't like the game" is laughable, because the demo wasn't even out till a couple days ago. (Plus I haven't even played it yet.)

On topic: My person rules are simple.

1. Use what I make as you please. I have the evidence to make you look like a liar if you claim my work. If you are the original creator of something, why bother complaining? If you want to, disprove it. It isn't going to bring you any satisfaction. As for claiming ideas, the execution is more important than the idea itself.

If you start a topic to cause an argument, people are going to argue. If you close the topic because everything that needs to be said is said, why re-open it? It has already been established that everyone has their personal ideas on the issue, and they've already stated them. To say that someone is trying to change your opinion by stating theirs, and that they are violating the rules is hypocritical. The only reason for reopening this topic was to continue the arguing. And you really should learn that there is no difference between trying to change someone's mind, and trying to persuade them. And if persuading them is against the rules, then why encourage it? The topic is better off closed with the set rules.

Not only that, but with a message board with such a minimal ammount of users, how can you expect people not to repeat themselves? (You yourself have done it a few times already)

 

This thread was basically re-opened because some people couldn't help but express their opinion on this topic in other threads instead of here where it belongs. (after it was closed before)

 

Then they should come here and read the thread and get on with their lives. No one's opinion has changed. And half of the people posting are saying the same things. What's the point of a topic like that? You realize that nothing new was stated after the first three pages? Everything is paraphrased from the first three pages of this topic. And I'm sure by page 17 there will still be no new information in this topic. If the idea even is to share information, the purpose was just deafeated. If all this topic is about is reposting the same information in different words, I could easily make a ten-post spam doing so. It doesn't take the wasted time of 10 individuals to do that.

What would be efficient is if this topic were used to make posts about any conspiracies you may have that someone is indeed cloning/editing your work. That makes much more sense.

That only happend because you really annoyed and frustrated him. Just because you get on someones nerves hard enough that they do something unthought out that they woudln't normaly do, does not mean you have won the argument.

Thats something you can discuss here with out making a new topic. I still think people should adress specificaly how they would like other people to go about using there work on mods. Me and sp did, if everyone does it future problems could be solved.

Yes, I've done this to show you that it's dumb to do such a thing, because you know what your post mean and I know what my mean, but I don't think you got that.

If 10 members post something and 3 post trash it isn't fine. Normally no member post trash. I think it's because the subject is fussy. And the opinion's go far away.

The thing is, I had a different opinion and people used a old post of me, to confirm their own opinion, but in the post it was never said it confirms their opinion, it just wasn't be specific. And I think that's not okay, persude is something like: "Hey, why not using people's images it's their work and they don't need credit it's okay don't you think? " But not: "Hey that's your post and it says that you think it's okay to use other peoples images even without crediting!"

Because people started to say something and I said it isn't that way, they started again, so I repeated also again
