Lets hope that the insanely large amount of ff7 fans don't know how to get a hold of the forum assassins. (Or don't have enough money for their services) :D

It was better then X-2 at least.. although that isn't saying much. Actually I liked VII better than XII too.

While I may not agree to FF7 being the greatest rpg ever I still think it is a great RPG and undeserving of being called "horrible", I have played alot of RPGs btw.

Oh and speaking of which, do not ever buy Astonishia Story for PSP, it is the worst RPG ever created and is every single aspect that can ruin an RPG all rolled into one game. Only buy it for people you hate.

When I call an FF game horrible, thats comparing it to other FF games, of course FF7 was still better then almost every other RPG out there.

And here I was thinking that FF1 was the horrible game. :D

FF1 is the NES game btw, I give all FF games their proper numbers. So the NES games are FF1, FF2 and FF3, and the SNES games are FF4, FF5 and FF6. I do not use the crappy US names like FF3 for FF6 and FF2 for FF4.

Yeah I use proper names too, but you should get a GBA emulator and find an FF1 & 2 advanced rom, they were huge improvements over the NES games. I never played 3 though. 6 was my all time favorite.

Yeah it does a good job with FF2 (I am planning on buying the PSP port of FF2), but FF1 is boring in my opinion, in all ports and the original. Actually there was only 2 graphical updates to FF1 and FF2. The wonderswan remake and the PSP ones, all the other ports (PSX, GBA, etc.) were based on the wonderswan remake, sad huh.

Something I noticed... My mind hasn't been on Cave Story recently! I must remedy this.

.. but first,
as for FF games... 4 might be my fav, then 8, then 6, then 7. Tactics is somewhere between 4,8 and 6.]
Did you know there was a fan-translation of 4 that added lots of stuff? Also a fan-retranslation of 6, even Chrono Trigger...! Oh and finally Seiken Densetsu 3, is very classic as far as SNES games go. Great fun with multiple people online. [There's a hack for 3 players at once]

Illusion of Time/Gaia?
Tales of Phantasia?
Chrono Trigger?
Telefang?

But the ports followed the proper order. :p

If you want to refer FF6 by its american name call it "FF3 (US)" or "Final Fantasy 3 (US)" to avoid confusion, it seems to be the current standard.
