This was about the fireball and how it works underwater, right?
What about the missile launcher?
I mean, the missiles would slow down in the more dense medium, no?
Or do the missiles "magically" develop more thrust in water?

lollllI hadn't played Cave Story in a long time, but... It was too easy! And SOOO too short... I CRAVE more Cave Story... I wish it was as long as a full length RPG lol
Balrog's last battle brought me down to 1 health though!!!! While the Core battle didn't even scratch me once lol Oh, and I didn't realize you could take a puppy to the Storehouse when the door is open [if you don't talk to JEnka after she gets knocked down by Balrog]... I don't think it changes anything though, haven't checked to make sure though.
I still want to make Cloud Story so badly... To flesh out Cave Story's story a little bit, etc etc.. It's just I'm still trying to get the story right and I kinda want to get it all written out before I begin to script it.

They're not the only ones... Crono from Chrono Trigger and Vahn from Legend of Legaia follow suit... Okay, so maybe Crono LEADS the whole "Silent Protagonist" trend... Or was that Breath of Fire 1's main character who started it all?Kaeso said:

Hey...! Just wondering... what happens if you tell Curly, Yes you're going to kill all the Mimiga ... never telling her you changed your mind. Then just beat the Sandzone... ? I don't see why you couldn't... I suppose I should try it ..
As for silent protagonists, it started probably with the first games even before Link. Like Golvellius, or Wonder Boy! lol You can talk to everyone, but no; YOU don't say anything lol Mario is the same in the first ones... But, it's not like there's a whole lot of talking in those games "Sorry, but the princess is yet another castle..."
And I never did play Nocturne... it got too expensive to buy also so...
I will admit I think Digital Devil Saga had some of the best characters that I became attached to in a long time...
Playing through part 1 with them and then the beginning of part 2... just was awesome. I never played the entire part 2 because I was actually a bit disappointed with it... I need to do it sometime though. But, I really loved the core characters from that game
I doubt Nocturne had that kind of love for the characters... but on the other hand it probably soared in other areas.
