hi hi
i haven't been posting music here in a long time. probably because i haven't been making orgs in a while. i still have like two things that are worth sharing
Megaman 3 stage select music, I still never actually figured out how people recreate the NES's sound so accurately because I only know what to use to replace the triangle channel and 25% pulse, it's crazy to me
Hyperbole sounds nice, I think you should've leaned in on the bass a bit. I'm biased, not a fan of arps much
Dark Father... oh my god this sounds like what they'd do with earthbound songs where they take a riff from a famous song and make a new song entirely (I thought it was bad to the bone for a very split second)

'Ello. I made a cover of the song "Killers" by CBoyardee. This was mostly just a test to see if I could port it from Modplug Tracker, which I originally did the cover in. I might post that original cover in a different thread sometime. This is my first attempt of using OrgMaker.

I don't think I will make any more music on OrgMaker ( unless someone makes a tool where you can convert xm files into org, this software's tedious :( ), so this is either my first and last, or just my first. Enjoy.

Nice cover! I think you made use of the orgmaker software and instruments quite well.
It's kind of funny, after looking at a bunch of music making software I had always thought orgmaker was by far the easiest to use, but I see people disagree :mahin:

hi hi
i have made a couple orgs over the course of the past few months so i want to ruin my cool postcount number and share the orgs again. goodbye, 1111. hello, 1112

me trying to remember how to org again, part 1. not too much to say about it, really.
cool game, decent music, i still remembered this song from like 20 years ago when i played this game on a bootleg nes console.

me trying to remember how to org again, part 2. these orgs were made in a single evening as some sort of a warmup??? i don't know. also i don't know this game's name by heart because i don't recall it having a proper english name
this song uses vibrating note trails that i usually don't use because they sound weird. i feel like they're not too bad in this case, so they get to stay

now this is a classic. lovely song. decent game with a great soundtrack. i made this song during my stay abroad despite not really having time for anything cool. i messed up the drums (or rather, i said i didn't like them and they could use fixing) and said that was a problem for future hina, but the org never saw any change after that, so i guess it was nobody's problem after all. in any case, the org is pretty solid even with the drums being a little bit yucky

one of my favourite nes games strikes back. song picked for orgmaking simply because it had no drums. that was basically my only reason. it's not a bad tune but i wanted to org and couldn't be bothered to do proper drums (and that theme will persist over the course of the next few orgs)

hey it's the funny ball-kicking game again. this time it's one of my favourite songs from the entire ost which i somehow haven't touched until now despite wanting to make it for like 10 years? this is where i started using both the regular org and the nes sound banks when posting the orgs in the org discord server. it kinda spoiled me because the nes songs sound so good with the nes soundfont (duh)
in any case, the org still sounds good with org instruments so it is not a problem here

i remembered megaman exists and decided to do something about it. wood man was the choice because i felt like air man was a little too ambitious to start with (even though i did the quick man theme in the past so that counts, technically). also, simple-ish drums helped

wow, some of these sound pretty wonky in the web player at times...

the nes smurfs game got some really cool music! so did the gameboy game, but i only played this one. whoops. charming compositions, catchy beats, good atmosphere, what else could you need?
oh right. simple drums

more mega man. my first contact with this song was through the music blaster weapon found in the 8-bit weapon pack for open liero X. very.. unusual for sure. but it's a catchy theme for that one robot master with the totally-not-overpowered weapon

i don't actually like the second game's wily 1 theme that much, but i do find the first game's wily 1 theme nice to listen to, hence the choice. my only problem here is that i should have made the wily boss theme as well while i was at it

i find this theme cute. i never beat the game as a kid, but as i found out later, i was really close - i just couldn't figure out how to make progress in the water area specifically, and i would eventually run out of lives while trying to find the solution. oh well. still a decent game, despite being somewhat difficult due to projectile spam in stage 2

this took a long time to post. i hope hayden is fine

Ooh, I really like the Mega Man orgs, very creative to use Wave 20 instead of the built in Tom01 drum for the toms in the beginning for Wood Man. Nice >:]

And yeah, the theme for the first two stages in Wily Fortress in MM1 is a good track. I still hate those Foot Holders in the first stage, let alone the Big Eyes at the beginning of said stage...
