@jaxcheese: Your remixes were all pretty good, but they're a bit primitive. You should play around with the volume more and try using multiple waves for some notes, so that you get some more interesting sounds. Also you should use some more bass, you have no notes that go very low at all.

Here's an org I made (from ear):

Based off of this:

I realized that I haven't posted this yet, so here:
Bitter Regret (extended).org

I added a harmony and extended the song a bit.

Enjoy.

EDIT:
New org, woo
Falling Water.org
I tried to make the descending parts of the melody sound more important than the rising parts, tell me how I did :3

what are you talking about that was awesome :D
your songs sound like an entire orchestra, that's amazing
seriously, nice work.

And, because I'm stupid, I forgot to add a snare drum in Falling Water D:
Falling Water (better).org

I should really wait a day until uploading orgs, I always find ways to correct them.

I've only ever used orgmaker v1 because it came with Cave Story Deluxe. I'm thinking about trying v2. Is it better? Can I write songs in 5/4? Is it like Booster v2.0?

It's 1000 times better in every way.
Use it ASAP.
Yes you can write songs in 5/4, but you can do that in org maker 1 too >:

Initial reactions to Orgmaker:

Good:
Fullscreen! Yay!
5/4! Yay!
Song resizing! Yay!
Color coded tracks! Yay!
Key shortcuts! Yay!
Easy copying! Yay!
Solo and full buttons! Yay!
I can edit all my old v1 tracks!! Yay!!!

Bad:
Real drum noises!:hoppy:
Depressing background!

Creepy:
Tortured cat noise when you click "about"...?
Unknown D and Unknown R.
"Quick Help" is pages of random signs.

Overall: Awesome!

EDIT:
Check out my new song!

Random signs=your computer misprocessing japanese unicode.
it has all the old drum tracks, count your blessings.
the cool background is less intrusive than tan.

It's a good song.

I personally don't like the color coding of org 2.0, but that's just me.

Wow, 5(BOSS)4 is pretty cool!
Comments. It should be longer before the repeat, and it sounds kinda wierd when it repeats back to the beginning.
Pretty cool though.

At long last, more .orgs. I thought I hated transcribing and never wanted to do it again, but my love for Lorenzen's Soil from Earthworm Jim 2 outweighs that.

I have two versions, both based on the Genesis. Lorenzen's Soil sounds a bit better somehow, and ISO 9000 is closer to the original. I had to use an .midi of the SNES version which had big ole problems, but I knew the song well enough that it wasn't even a thing. But they are not perfect yet in my opinion.

If you like these, I highly recommend you find the original Lorenzen's Soil; I could not quite capture the beauty.

Right, I forgot to post a comment and stuff.
Anywho, those are some sexy orgs you got going there, the drams are possibly the best part :3 can't say much about the notes, because you didn't write them and such, but they're both awesome recreations.

Hello. I blinked out of existence for a while there. Sorry.

I've been doing songs with FL Studio but then I realized I forgot to finish this trio four hours ago! It only had two songs (from, like, two months ago) so I made another one today, Three Sided Coin.

Out in Space requires some explanation. Before you hit play, mute everything except for the first instrument. After that, instruments 2 through 4 and Q through R are for the "nice" version of the song. The minor version use instruments 5 through 8, T through I. It was meant to be a gradually evolving song for a space shooter-type game.

If you just leave everything unmuted it's good for pissing off anyone near you, though, so BONUS FEATURE.

Finally got Out in Space to play right. It would be awesome if it required less user input. Across the line reminds me of some of the more upbeat music in Metroid Prime. In my eyes that is a HUGE compliment. Three Sided Coin is a type of song I don't see very often. It's very nice. Not much else I can say about it. I really would like to see some of the songs you've made in fl studio too. PM me.
