Lol I'm on a roll this week xD i have no idea why ether!!

Ghastly (not finished. Mostly just wanted to see if the drums are fine as is)

:Edit:

Ack everybody's after me lucky charms!.. I mean songs!!! I got the two above me then a visitor message about it... though he oddly deleted it...

The reason why I deleted it was because I had an odd feeling you were going to deny it. >.>

Be sure to comment on other people's orgs as well. Same for kuro, but kuro's more on top of that normally so he didn't deserve the shout out as much.

@ Lavish: Has a weird sound, I think it's because the bass suggests a minor whereas the melody suggests a major, which clashes. Also melody sounds a bit plain, but it's okay. Works generally as a song, has appropriate changes in percussion and such.

@ Ghastly: Umm, not bad for a start. Sounds like it has potential if it's stylized right. Otherwise, not so much. But good for what you have so far.

@Vomit: It's okay, I have no idea what this would be used for tho, melody is kinda repetitive tbh, but oh well. Nice fx. Has a weird vibe about it.

@Spacey: Honestly, Safusaka, this has to be my favourite of what you've made. You made nice use of the percussion and it really does sound "spacey". Good job.

@Placidity: Sounds ambient, I think I like it. Carries a very relaxed/distant feel with it.

@Curly: It's nice. Sounds very electronic, like a lot of your pieces. If you ever make a mod with this music, you'll have to make it at like a space station or something. Reminds me of omnitopia from SoE for some reason. Just the feel of it.

@Hidden: Sounds very heavy, like machinery wise. A lot of your pieces sound this way tbh. Has that weird vibe that your compositions seem to carry often.

@Distress: Sounds dark, and has a heavy mood. Nothing too special, but it'd work great in certain cutscenes.

@Party: Sounds like something from an rpg, I don't know exactly where it'd fit though. It's a bit too ambiguous, could work in a lot of places. Nice org nonetheless.

Also, I don't ever really post my own compositions/orgs (ones made from scratch) in case ppl steal them. If I make a song, I like to retain all rights to it. Posting it on the internet means it could end up anywhere. Only exception I've made was my Ideal.org, but that one was just mediocore anyways.

Comments are appreciated, but optional. Not everybody wants to listen to everything.

Ha ha ha, somebody who actually played that game, awesome.

You have a weird definition of mediocre >_>

Anyways,
@ Kuro: Sounds fine to me for the moment.
@ Safusuka: I really like that drum effect you've come up with. The track itself sounds kinda similar to Vomit, only a bit less electronic and a bit more upbeat maybe.

@Safusaka: Again nice. The clapping effect you used in this one and vomit works really well here.

@KuroKun: oooh! This could work pretty well as a boss theme. It also has a kinda feel to it much like the cave story theme so It also sounds like it would work as a final stage. Good luck with it!

@Gir: Lavish was intended to be more of a ending song or maybe some sort of annoying grassy area song, so it's kinda repetitive...

Placidity was more of a sound test than anything else... maybe i should try to finish it?

Oh, and thanks about the spacey one. it took a while to get it to sound right.
I don't really like the ending part that much however.

Maybe my songs have similar vibes because I use similar sound arrangements?

Like: 3, 66, 85, 95, 77, 6, 9, 92, 14, and 54 are my most commonly used instruments.

9 and 92 make strong bass while 77 complements it nicely with its growl.
66 is basically a synth-ish sound. 85 is pretty similar to it.
3 is sorta nes-ey as well as 14.
6 is a nice, smooth sound.
54 is just cool. :)

Here's one that I made kinda quickly but I thought it was alright. I'm using it for a stage in my mod that i really thought needed it's own music rather than one that I actually used in another stage where the music worked better in. Like Wedge of Cheese I wanna use as much of my own music as possible in my mod. Sewer

Nice job. You have a unique style that I haven't really heard before. Not very tonal, but it still works. I look forward to seeing your mod! (I assume it's the one in your sig?)

Ghastly sounds pretty cool so far. Pretty fast-paced, that's always good. :D

Kuro, get your works in MP3 or remake it in a DAW; Ghastly is AWESOME @_@

Kinda makes me want to learn the way of the OrgMaker so I can contribute to mods around here...it's that great XD

I really liked the first bit of Ghastly, but later on I think it gets kind of messy-sounding, and some of the tracks sound too quiet.

It's not too hard really. You just need to know a bit about you can make different key things work (like what notes go together) which isn't so hard if you already play an instrument. Just play around with it cause you never start off great at it but eventually it'll grow on you

Made 2 new orgs that I'm probably going to use for the mod, LIGHT is pretty much complete whereas PinkGabriel is a work in progress.

LIGHT.org
This is from Kirby Air Ride (GameCube) originally.

PinkGabriel.org
This is from the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Soundtrack originally.

Also, here's an ORIGINAL composition I started a couple of months ago, did some more work on it recently.

Perfecta.org

And @Kuro: Ghastly is okay, but you need some stronger bass somewhere in the song. I really think it could just use some deeper bass, otherwise it doesn't sound quite right. Mainly at the beginning, because there's a lot going on there, but it's all at a high frequency, you need something lower to even it out. The part near the end, where it's a little bit empty, I think is actually better than the first part, because I can hear some nice stylistic beats in this part. Not to mention that songs need quiet parts every now and then, to emphasize the parts that are louder.

Kinda started working with a different org. This is one that I started to work on before boss theme but couldn't think of what to do next with it until now... It actually appears in the end of boss theme (or at least a piece of it does)

MoonLight

An interesting note... the name of the file was originally NewData.org and I renamed it to its current name. I forgot to put org at the end so every time i went to load it, i couldn't find it unless i typed the name xD
