I just remembered another game not many know about... Another Playstation game called Roll Away (Also known as Kula World or Kula Quest, depending on where it was released in the world).

The game consists of over 150 levels where you move a beach ball (Yes, you read right) through these levels suspended in midair. In each level (Except bonus levels and 2 Player 'Copycat' mode) there's a certain amount of keys that must be found before the exit is activated. After the first few stages, some extra hazards are introduced, such as gaps and spikes to jump over, as well as some weird polygonal enemies (essentially known as 'captivators'). The are even some parts the ball can shift from rolling on a floor to a wall, though it will not roll off a hazardous edge by accident if the player tries to move over one.

In essence, it's a 3D action/puzzle game, and the overall concept may be a bit strange, but it's a fun game (Not to mention a rare one, too) and has plenty of secrets to find as well.

There's even a "Training" level that was hidden away in the U.S. release, but it can still be accessed with a GameShark.

This sounds a ton like Marble Blast, which looks like Marble Madness. (don't bother about the links, what's wrong about being a nerd? :) )

I know this is exactly a videogame, but the Arkham Horror boardgame is (nearly) as addictive as the best videogame you've played.

Funny happenings from my last game:
  • My character: Harvey Walters (7 Sanity, 3 Stamina (Health))
  • Character ability: My Sanity losses are reduced by 1, to a minimum of 0.
  • Items (end of game): Dragon's Eye (We won because of this)
  • Spells (end of game): Heal x 2, Withering x 2 (+6 to one combat, very good~), Mists of Vahln x 1 (Automatic escape from one monster), Flesh Ward x 1 (Ignore damage for one turn)
  • Skills: Lore (+1)
  • Gate closes: 2
  • Monster kills: 3
  • Friendlies trapped in other dimensions: 1

Odd events:
  • I was in the place called "The Woods" with a friendly, Mandy, and she had drawn an event that said "You meet and old man in the woods who offers knowledge." My character was an old coot bookworm.
  • I had a Tommy Gun, as did Sister Mary.
  • I read SEVEN books through out the game, and only lost 1 sanity from them. (Normally, books drive you insane in a hurry...)
  • I made most Lore checks at +8.

Ummm...
In this game, reading books drives you insane.
And quickly.
But the rewards are pretty good (Clues, Spells, Abillities...)

But for the average Character (3-5 Sanity), the loss of 40% of your total sanity is not worth it, especially when there are monsters doing an automatic 2 Sanity damage.

Another great game everyone I know tends to overlook (Except for my dad) is Blaster Master on the NES. It has really neat graphics for an NES game, plenty of secrets to find, challenging bosses, an amazing soundtrack, and even certain elements similar to Cave Story.

As a matter of fact, one of my favorite bosses from any game is the 5th one in BM. I even remade this particular boss battle in Klik & Play one time for mostly practice, but the final phase of the clone wasn't duplicated exactly like its actual counterpart.
