Why do you say they are defective when you just said that they were able to defeat the core, opposed to the 20 that couldn't?

When I said defective, I meant changed or corrupted from their original purpose.Maybe they were robots with super adaptive programming,and eventually had feelings and thoughts of their own.(again,maybe magic had a part in it.)

Really? That sounds like a stupid technicality. If you were a billion times smarter than everyone else, why would I call you defective? It's like theres a connotation with bad things.
