So uh, I think the whole copyright infringement thing is actually a bunch of bullshit, pulled by some kid who's gonna get his ass handed to him eventually by the pokemon community.

But that's just me, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

ANYWAY the whole season changing thing is awesome, although in general the new creatures just don't look like "pokemon".
They've introduced a lot of cool new stuff, and it looks like a lot of fun. Despite what I said about the creatures being not pokemon, I'm still definitely buying this. To many new awesome features to let myself miss out on this one

one thing I hope for, more rain in this game...

 

I always disliked weather conditions because I hate how there is a message about it during every single freaking turn during a battle.

I think I heard somewhere that they're fixing it, having it as a little reminder in the corner or something, instead of a text message.

i really like all the crazy new types, like ghost/fire and ghost/water and bug/steel and grass/steel and etc

and i love some of the designs for the new pokemon, hate some. it's kinda like gen 2


but yeah i'm thinking i might actually NOT pick this one up... i never did finish gen 3 or 4 and though i'd like to sometime, i remember *why* that happened and i realize i'm just honestly not as into it as i used to be. I'm not at all remotely into the "battlan" aspect either and that's the #1 most important aspect of pokemon to 99% of the fans.

 

I am liking all the duel-type ghosties too :3 and the ice/bug and all that jazz.

And yeah..most pokemon fans are all just OMG BATTERUUUU IMMA PWN JOO WIFF MY PARTY OF ALL LV 100 LEGENDARIES. I just like to go through my game, catch what I want, build my party, and take it easy.

I will admit though that I am not as into it as I used to be. Still haven't beat HeartGold or Platinum.

 

I just don't understand how people have the patience to level up their pokemon to lvl 100. I only got one pokemon to that level. (without cheating)

 

I agree. I have a friend who is like that. He cheats, but also levels up. He has a lot of legit 100s, and some not legit. He also manages to fill up his entire pokedex and have every pokemon in his PC boxes. It's ridiculous.

I've only had one level 100, but it was through cheating with rare candies. But he was originally like...85 or something.

 

Hm. When I played, I used my Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise for everything, so by the end it was lvl 100 and could single-handedly take down the Elite 4. I think the first time I played it through I only caught like a dozen other pokemon. I didn't see the point in having so many - They would only get neglected.

 

Just got the rom! I have to play it on DeSmuME though, which is slow as shit.

Either you need a better computer or that emulator sucks lol.
I usually use iDeaS or NO$GBA(yes thats a ds emu). Which have worked fantastically for me in the past for a considerable amount of ds games, but having said that, most 3D ds games dont run very well in the first place. Just keep that in mind, unless its changed in the past year or so since i havnt really touched a DS emulated game in awhile.

 

Sheesh. There are already roms? What, are they gonna release a translated version too before the English release?
