PNG Story
**What Is It?**
So... Yeah. Cave Story, but that uses PNG's instead of PBM/BMP's.
Iunno.
**Features**
1.) "(C)Pixel" requirement removed.
2.) Graphics editable with just paint (no hex editor needed).
** IMPORTANT **
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SUE'S WORKSHOP!
**Notes**
1.) File size has decreased about ~24% compared to the PBM format.
2.) 256 colors to work with versus the original 16.
3.) This RAR only contains the core EXE and the Data folder. Apart from missing a few files and the conversions made, this is identicle to the Cave Story from the Cave Story Deluxe installer.
4.) This is designed to make modding both easier and more accessable to those who might just want to draw some new sprites or tilesets.
5.) For non-graphical edits, please use Cave Editor. Sue's Workshop will corrupt the EXE. Sorry, but it was unavoidable.
6.) For graphic edits, any program that can handle the PNG format (Including MS Paint) will suffice.
Final notes:
I really just slapped this together in 3 minutes.
Do with it what you will.
