Well actually I kinda overlooked.. this thread.. earlier... (sorry)

Anyway seeing that I am the only one that breaks past the last rank at post 3000 there isn't much point in adding more right now.

 

I'm going to hesitantly open this up since we're starting to accumulate a fair number of members in the Nu Club, andwhy's over doubled it and I'm almost at 4k myself.oh god what am I doing with my life

Haven't got any ideas off the top of my head for new ranks but if I gave it a bit of thought I could probably come up with something. We could also maybe use this as a time to revisit some of the more obscure or unattractive ranks and freshen up our system a bit. Thoughts?

 

Aw hell yes. I think everybody has ideas for new ranks, but let me start with revisiting an older rank: "Big Joe Tire and Battery Restaurant! Opening Soon! Eat at Big Joes!" What is this? I've scoured Google and this thread but can't come up with an answer, I don't get it. If I could make a recommendation (I think this was said somewhere earlier in this thread, but I like the idea), we could replace some of the older / more obscure ranks with ranks dedicated to the best Cave Story modifications. Something related to WTF Story, KS&S, and Jenka's Nightmare all come to mind as mods with a good legacy that we could use for ranks in some way or another.

I'd just like to be able to switch them freely after reaching that certain amount of posts to unlock the next tier. I will keep you forever once I gain you, Kid.

 

If that's able to be implemented that would be a really cool option.

Oh and Yume Nikki might make a good reference for a user title.

Also,I have a suggestion.

"Fastest crocodilianly possible reaction:0.02 seconds."(Picture of crocodile from the sand zone.A reference to an Ipod app called "Fastest Humanly Possible Reaction:0.03 Seconds" and a joke about how fast you have to react to dodge the crocodiles in the sand zone.)

 

I don't know if anyone suggested this yet, but how about a sprite of Blue from Pokémon Red and Blue saying "Smell ya later!"
