What does the mod do? It makes the game harder, as the title 'Muri' (Impossible) implies.
Download attached. If you find any bugs tell me and I will fix them... Maybe.

First few seconds of playing and I immediately knew this was going to be fun.

The first thing were the sounds, especially the 'pew' sounds when walking. It literally is the best of what I have seen yet.
Haven't really have seen anything much else yet, but I noticed one thing:

The level 3 Nemesis seems to heal, how fun!
I have yet to looks this more though, but I like what I see already.

 

I like the Polar Star's bullet physics.

 

I uh... I can't stop doing this just for the sound....

 

Does it change anything apart from the sounds and the weapons? Because so far it's quite boring = I don't want to continue.
At least it's nice seeing that Polar Star hack being used.

 

I didn't go farther than the Egg Corridor, it was awfully dull. And the sounds are grating on my ears.

 

Ballos is much harder, and you can kill the... Bazil? The thing at the bottom of the egg corridor.

I see, to be good at releasing terrible mods and then remaking the fuck out of them because they get so criticised.

I didn't mean to offend you or anything. It's just that it felt way too much like normal Cave Story.

 

I've done some checking out and here are some things I noticed, note that I haven't played through the whole game.

The inaccurate Polar Star hack seems to be used, not much to say here.
The Spur is now called The Destroyer and looks a bit different, it also can only shoot at level 3(and maybe 0, but I haven't been successful in that). The level 3 blast does extreme levels of damage and passes through walls.
The (Super, Although the super missiles are the only one I tested) Missiles seem to heal on low levels, meaning that you need to level it up first.
When using the level 3 blade, King's spirit seems to have more red eyes, and may have less range.
The nemesis is impossible to level up, but heals at level 3.

The Ballos fight is the most notable difference, you will immediately notice the red version of bkMoon, and the fact that almost the whole room is filled with spikes.
In his first form; Ballos seems to be having a fantastic amount of health where even The Destroyer hardly makes a difference, which means the fight is next to impossible if you don't have the destroyer or the level 3 super missiles.

Aside from what I have seen at Ballos; This looks like it's just a slightly changed Cave Story. I actually hoped the first cave would already be a small challenge.
I thought you mentioned that the Destroyer would be able to hit on level 0, but I haven't been successful at doing that yet.
I've had quite some cases where even the level 3 destroyer didn't work, this is likely because the previous blast is still somewhere in a wall where I can't see it.
Ballos - Spur - level 3 Super Missiles = Next to impossible, and even with the Spur and level 3 Super Missiles, It's too tough for words due to the spikes and the enormous health he has.

Should I find more I'll just edit the post, unless Zxin decides to put a list of changes themselves.

 

Ballos now has 100.000.000 health.

100 million?! Isn't that a bit too much? Even if you can do 1000 damage with the D E S T R O Y E R in one level MAX shot, it will still take 100.000 level MAX shots, have you actually played/tested yourself?
