how about this

when quote faces enraged toroko like in the middle of the battle toroko tries to slash quote but just missess and cataches part of quotes scarf and at the end of the battle king lands one final blow with his sword

This is a bit late, but about the nemmy question...
I was thinking that when he drops off Mr. Little the blade would 'transform' into the nemesis or when Little offers him the gun King's soul would transfer into the Nemmy.

Atravir originally had everyone call Quote "boy". When he wanted to change it he ran it through "Find and Replace" so that "boy" was replaced with "Quote", this caused issues with the text because not all instances of the word "boy" were used as name replacements for "Quote", such as some lines in Balrog's 2nd fight and at Chaco's house. Keep in mind that this isn't a finished product.

Perhaps Toroko is the Goddess the Nemesis speaks of? That could account for the childish duckies
Either use King's weapon or the one blessed by Toroko?
