Wow, that fan fiction thing is... I hope that none of that is ever used for the movie, because it is way too serious and M-rated for the movie that Atravir is writing. On the romance side sure, but as for the rest I hope that no inspiration will ever follow.

Yes, will be romance in the sequel, to some degree. Although I'm not completely sure how or when to add it yet.

As for Misery's name, I'll think of something. And it will more likely be revealed during one of the several flashbacks to Misery's childhood.

Sort of. In the movie, Balrog is actually a very old robot. Back when the entire computer processor took up a space the side of a refrigerator. Pooh Black is the military version of Balrog, designed with limited communication and no emotion. He was designed to be more powerful, and to have the ability to teleport. Balrog is only more advanced for the fact that he has missiles, and in the sequel, it explains that Misery put those in, as well as the white orb things he shoots.

Again, I doubt the sequel will ever be made, that's why I'm writing it as fanfiction. If it IS made though, I'll add in as much detail as possible.

If it doesn't work out then you could always Plan B and C the sequel and get massive amounts of support for the project from all the people who saw the movie and would love to see a sequel. Fans kept Buffy running for another 2 seasons and the same would work here.

That is not true, you are only accounting for the people who post here regularly or even post here at all. This project was the thing that inspired me to register and post at this forum, I require something I want to get involved in before I put the effort in and register, otherwise I am a lurker. There are alot more Cave Story fans than you think, and not all of them speak english.

Also considering that Cave Story is known as one of the most popular free games on the net.

That's not the point, the majority of cave story fans would speak English anyway, I was just saying that there would be a lot of Cave Story fans out there.

Although we could have the site in Japanese as well when the Japanese Cave Story movie is being made, assuming that Plans A or D work (Possibly B?), and that someone on this thread knows Japanese.

 

plus you can do what most japanese animes do is just have subtitles until a audio for that language is made
