my game crashes at the wrath of revorshnekal color switching part only when i access the black square
it always happens how do i fix it?
I downloaded the last demo because the final version was removed from media fire??

I cheated my way through the parts I already did but I could tell there were some changes.
What would of happened if I didn't get that oracle summoner thing?

 

I think you can't use it to un-wrath Revo and have to defeat him permanently

I am currently in the process of making downloads for every old mod (that I can find). Once I'm done with the little contest mod I'm making this will return to being my number-one priority, forum-wise. If you can wait a while longer I'll be putting all of them in one place.

 

In Cavern Tale (the mod), HOW DO I KILL THE GRAVEKEEPER/D.GERO ???

I counted, I have dealed him more than 10000 damage before dying this time. That was after more that 100 tries. How do I defeat him ?

Just to say, I have examined every tile of the room (that is, the room in which you are stuck), shot at every wall, and I've been stuck here for about 3 hours.

 

You actually can't right now. Give up, take a break, and try again later.

One of my biggest mistakes with Cavern Tale (my very first mod) was never specifying how to ""defeat"" him.
You have to do as IdioticBaka says, close the game completely and open it back up again. There's not a single clue that hints to this, so I'm very sorry for the frustration I've caused to numerous individuals.

I have a beta build in the works for an update that already fixes this issue and more (including the hundreds of typos), but don't know if/when that will be pushed to the public. CT is kinda flawed and therefore abandoned.

 

The best thing is, I though of something like that and did Esc-F2 about 10 times. Now I know that SkipFlags are NOT resetted by a reset. By the way, of the 4hours I passed on this, 1 was on Booster's Lab.

Yeah it's dependant on the exe process, since it stores in ram (not the save file portion). I've already fixed the fight to actually be obvious, just never got around to wrapping up some other issues to release a bugfix.

 

was there ever a mod called curlys story or curlys adventure i remember playing it a long time ago but i can't find it again
and it wasn't just normal cave story but with curly as the player, it was an entirely new and pretty professional looking game

all i remember is there were years and the house changes as years go on
also i remember that you start in the sand zone, and then go to some "ancient cave"

Thanks for finding that for me, I'm surprised the person made the information on it so brief considering I thought it was a very good game

 

just curious does anyone have a list of all the finished and long (at least an hour to play) mods?
also in jenkas nightmare is the genesis boss (i think its genesis light or something) is the boss actually just ironhead?

The Mod Archive Master List should give you some good insight into what finished and long mods are. What you'll probably be looking for is "Completed" in the status column, and "Extra Long" in the length column. The list is unfinished though, so you may have to do a bit of searching around yourself.
