She doesn't like serving the Crown, she doesn't like being held down, she doesn't like anything about the situation she's in, not even the fact that she has to hurt others (though if it's the only thing she can derive pleasure from, even if it is sadistic pleasure she's gotta take what she can get). If she's allowed to eat a petal and go berserk, she's no longer capable of following the Crown's commands.

That's very open to interpretation, especially the last part.
I don't think Pixel put that much complexity to Misery.

Fun fact: When the doctor uses the crystal fragments to transform Sue and Misery into monsters, Sue becomes an anthropomorphic enraged Mimiga, that being due to Sue being somehow Half-Mimiga in her own right.
If that's the case, why is Misery transormed into some wierd crow shaman, if she's supposed to be Half Mimiga too?
