ANYWAY, I daresay that any smut written concerning Mimigas--throughout the story of Cave Story--couldn't be true anyway. With all the depressing/enraging stuff going on, being separated from each other so much, held in captivity largely away from each other, being forced to work for the Doc, etc. I doubt sex is on their minds, even if they're rabbits. Every comment anyone makes about it is really just for flavor or to mess around; it's obvious that creatures with that level of intelligence probably think about sex just as much as a human, but given their situation, I highly doubt it's at all important for any of them during the storyline of that game, anyway (EXCEPT CHACO. But she takes what she can get, no matter what it is)
Of course, it's the specialty of good fiction writers to take things that may have not actually happened--in real life or even in other works of fiction--and make them believably "happen" in their story regardless, but again, if it even smells remotely of "joke" to you, they simply weren't a good enough writer.

See, I know they don't need a reason, and the internet's filled with super super low-quality stuff like that. I'm just saying *if* they weren't terrible at writing and actually cared, it could be done well, it wouldn't seem like "a joke". It's not like I care about writing stuff like that, but even still, it makes me shake my head when another piece like that that people can't even tell if it's a joke or not comes to my attention.
And if it's even that one thing that happens in the game, and they're that bad at it... :C

I would post some of it but it IS rather explicit. Also I'm probably not the best to judge quality either, since I don't read much smut/fanfic (not saying they're the same, just saying I don't read either of the 2 normally). Doesn't seem to be badly written.
[EDIT]: A bit of it does seem cheesey, at least what they say. I don't know I don't plan to read it anymore. :/

But yeah, Chaco x Quote I'd still say is something substantial enough to be part of this thread; lipstick stuff aside, she really seems to have a thing going for Quote at the King's Table. She pretty much swoons over him.

When Toroko is kidnapped, he regrets that now Sue is "The only girl in the village", like seeing his options being reduced.
