And you'd be right! I saw this a while back when the Kickstarter was still going on, but I've always been a little confused on the details. The game seems complicated, but I haven't done much research so that could be totally untrue for all I know. The price will really determine if I get this or not, and I don't think I've seen a confirmed one yet. Really neat concept, though.Nadojin said:I think this is something Tpcool would really be interested in...
If I do get this, I'll probably just keep the little game pieces and never play the board game, since I'm sure I'm never going to be able to get any of my friends to play it (about 3 of them know who Megaman is). The pieces do look pretty cool though. Also, Capcom can't cancel this game, since it's not being made by Capcom. I suppose it is possible, but considering they released the abomination that is Rockman Xover, they probably won't care about this.Pyroaid said:@Ultrasyther
That's my biggest problem as well..
Me: "Hey, wanna play Megaman the board game?!"
Friend: "Erm, sorry..? I gtg..."
Me: "Oh, OK it's fine...
(Me after they left): "I knew this was too geeky to be true..."
(Begins playing by myself)
Wilies gonna Wily. t(O_Ot)
The tough part for me is to find friends who would want to get involved in a complicated board game. I wouldn't mind doing it myself, especially since it's Mega Man, but I really hope it's accessible to my friends who aren't as in to Mega Man as I am.FrozenFire said:It is a bit complicated, but complicated is okay with me. I like using my brain. So cool to see Megaman as a board game.
Oh… okay...Thatnamelessguy said:According to the Kickstarter page, this actually is licensed by Capcom.
If I had to guess why it costs so much, I'd say it's because of all of the stuff they're including. Take a look at all of the stretch goals that were met, that's a lot! Also, Capcom isn't making this, they just licensed it. This is being produced by Jasco Games.PewPewPew said:That's just stupid. Completely and utterly stupid. t(0_0 ), Capcom!
Lots of people. It isn't that outrageous, honestly. For example:PewPewPew said:Who's gonna spend 80 dollars on a board game?
