Actually, it probably won't be over until June, when Cave Story's released for the Wii.
I'm positive there's just a line of people waiting to post more put-downs and ill-placed arguments on a comments page.....

Unless this get's closed {Which I kinda expected at the beginning, or something...}, I'll probably have to vent off more anger here

Doukutsu Monogatari is starting to look even better and better! I’m so excited for Doukutsu Monogatari. However I think Doukutsu Monogatari’s developer’s Nicalis’s blog is getting out of hand with comments. Could it because in the translation of Doukutsu Monogatari it said Grasstown and now in Doukutsu Monogatari it’s really Bushlands? Interesting! Can’t wait to see the final product! Well, I can. I’ll wait patiently for E3. Hope to see you guys. ^^

The fact is, people like to whine on the internet. I'm sure there were people praising Cave Story, too, but I can't argue that the Wii port has been delayed a bit long. Not really a bad thing, since that just means they're making it better.

 

Pixel can take however long he wants to finish the Wii version. It's his game after all, not ours.

And didn't he take like 5 years to finish the first CaveStory?

Pixel wouldn't release Cave Story for WiiWare until he was satisfied that it was finished. Nicalis can say whatever release dates they want, but it is all estimated. The real release date has always been "when it's done".

Heh, unless the developers are stupid, like in the case of Halo 2, and release it on a poorly appointed release date.
That game had sooooo many glitches {Because of their rushed job}, half the fun was just finding them....

Don't forget Sonic 2006, although the half-ass job in that game didn't add anything enjoyable.

The only reason I see why people are being so angry about the game taking time is just because of the fact that they love the original. People didn't get angry at Pixel that it took him five years to make the wonderful original. And they are amazed at this. Yet a few months delay and they bitch about the wait when it took five years to make the first one.

 

Well we've got a team of developers, which is more than 1 man. That should fraction 5 years into the number of people are working on this, and also add in the fact that everything is already written and accounted for, which should shave a year and a few months off.

But you can't forget that new content is being added that we have no idea what kind of scale it's being added. For all we know it could be a whole new level. And it's only been going on for about a year, maybe less then that.

Besides, the impatient people are getting impatient from something that they should not be impatient about. Void is impatient due to the fact that they should not be impatient. And yes I know the statement in redundant.
