Web mastering began to bore me because of it's dynamic limitations. It's still fun though. :D
But there are clever ways to get around these limitations. As for dynamic, Javascript, Flash, and any of your database driven languages (e.g. PHP) do the job quite nicely but in different ways to each other.

The size varies. Some buttons are bigger some are smaller.

http://spgardebiter.sp.funpic.de/CaveStory/Programs/KAH0.1.zip

See. :D

Edit: It's not OpenSource, but I will handle out the source if someone asks me. (E-Mail, AIM, ICQ, PM or eventually MSN)

Edit Edit: I know there are two bugs in it :p

One bug: It has to be in the same folder like Doukutsu.exe if it isn't it just creates one.

The other: If you type too much into the box then it maybe goes glitchy.

I apologise if I may have gotten the sizes wrong but you could always shave off a few pixels if needed.

Another problem is that after clicking on a button you can't choose something else you have to go through with it, also there needs to be a confirmation that the change has occurred.

Hehe, nice so far! It's good to see something like this being done, hehe... I'll most definitely use it myself ifit turns out as well as planned. ;P

If you could add NPC.TBL editing here too, it would be nifty like crazy, though in all fairness that can already be done (much faster than, say, weapon editing or some such. ;P)

I'm running this application half as a GUI half as a Console, I don't know if I will ever change that, but as long as it's like that I can't fix that sorry.

I could rewrite it some time with VBasic.

You mean a "Save changes" button? I don't think I can build this in because it's way too hard. :x

Yeah, me was the one who made the FAQ's but there are some problems with the tbl, some numbers are incorrect some npcs aren't in the tbl.

But I think it will be one of the next future things for the editor.

Just have the text display as "You changes have been saved" after you have made the change so that you know that the change has been made, that's all I was after.

Work on functionality before you try to improve the GUI, I'll still make buttons for it though.

All right, I'll tell you when you're needed :D
At this time I'm taking a little break and planning more for the editor.

Now I'm wondering if I should bother learning Sue's, or just wait for SP to finish this. :D

Hrmm. A Cave Story level editor will turn out to be quite a bit of fun... If anyone's seen this video, then you can imagine the works of a Cave Story level editor.

Heh. Too bad you can't make invisible blocks in Cave Story.

There are, but they work differently to the ones in the mario games.

Actually TSC is script and its not hard, just look for 3 letters and writing it down in the editor, I don't get; what's so confusing? :x
