• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

So guys.
Most Likely to Work Mac Version

I am in the process of porting the one custom NPC (the cube thing) to the mac Assembly so since it's not changed it will most likely behave like a critter, if I recall correctly.

EDIT: I finished. I don't know if it works.

I would appreciate if those of you who use macs could tell me if you find any bugs. Also, it's important to note that as it is it will only run on an INTEL mac.

If you need help with how to make it run then I'm going to have to ask cultr1 to field those questions since he claims it worked for him.

Ok, map data isn't fixed on the "finished" version D:
EDIT: Ok, so on the not finished one, only the door to King's House works.
The door to mahin's house also works.
but the rest don't work.

Oh?
I thought I had used the .exe app with the map data and previous changes and such... I'll have to take another look then.

In regards to map data it is best to understand that the mac map data format is slightly different from it's PC counterpart:

You will need to make some alterations before importing the map data.

I was aware of that and I tried to take that into account by manually writing the map data - checking each string by hand in sequence and changing those that were different in the .exe map data from the app map data, rather than just copypasting the lot of it.

Anyway only 3 bytes different? It almost sounds like one of the variables was supposed to be char length (in the PC version all variables get padded to 4 bytes)

I didn't make a deal with you saying that as soon as you forgot about where you are on your checklist you would release your mod, Noxid.

Re: King: Strife and Sacrifice (old was King's Story)

Great fun this was.

I found two errors though, both dealing with text:

1) After you finish your chores and talk to yuki again, when you talk to your dad, you still say you have chores to do.

2) In the crystal cave, when you first read the sign in the house that tells you how to get the password, it says:

pass = *****************
+*****************
+*****************

But after that it says:

pass = *****************
-*****************
+*****************

Other than that I found no errors in anything.

I imagine the flat line at the top of his head would get pretty obvious, I also imagine I don't know much on what I'm talking about.

Re: King: Strife and Sacrifice (old was King's Story)

Hmmm... the 2x res calls for a bit more shading/detail than that which was originally in CS imo. This is nitpicking, but this mod is so epic, I wouldn't want anything to hinder it's awesomeness in the slightest. :D
