Well... This is clearly a case of reverse anthropomorphism: she's a human given animal characteristics. In a way, 'Furry' kind of embodies this, to a lesser degree. If she in any way enjoyed this, we could call it 'furry'

Well, if she liked being a Mimiga, she would be a furry. But if she was just glad for the fur as it made her feel warmer, she would be practical.

Oh, you can definitely find proof of some theories. There's a lot of evidence in the game to choose from. The problem is finding a theory that fits all the evidence while not being overly complex.
