Is cave story well known?

Is it just me (due to my search habits) if I write "cave" in (the Spanish version of) Google, the 2nd suggestion is: Cave Story? It might show the game's popularity if you guys get the same results. Note: press space after typing "cave". It is only the 4th if I do not press space after the word "cave".

Well most of the "Gamers" in my High School know nothing of Cave Story. In fact look at this list I found: http://images.encyclopediadramatica.ch/4/45/Types_of_Gamers.jpg Pretty much every "Gamer" is #1, and #7. I'm #23. Sometimes I wonder if my generation knows there is more than just CoD, GoW, and Halo.

Anyways cave story is famous...for an indie game. If you ask around on any random forum people will say "oh i heard about it".

Whenever someone sees me playing Cave Story in school, they always ask if it's Pokemon. Cave Story looks NOTHING like Pokemon!

I'm a competetive Tourney gamer from the above, I've won an Insta tourney too. I used to play Alien Arena without using special bonus points in order to be fair with newer players. Also I liked to be kind and nice ingame. I never used and liked keyboard "aliases", FOV manipulations and even gaming mice, but never complained when somebody used that against me...

I know right? (oh hey, Im back) my freinds saw me on Cave story the other day and she was like
"I thoght you hated pokemon"and I said"THIS AINT POKEMON!!"

I dont, It was at home, My freind came over for a visit after she was on holiday, so.. I would play cave story in school, but If we download ANTHING we lose our ICT privlages so yer.....
