It's not a question of hard, it's a question of redundancy. Their purposes are so closely tied together that there would only be a need for separation if the forums were more active.

In the end though it's not really that big a deal. The question came up so I thought I'd comment.

As for the specific word "hack", it has to me always implied lack of forethought and planning, a lack of design. This is the complete opposite of how I operate.
