Well, I THINK he's working on a "newish game".

...or rather, it's just a remake of GUXT in all likelihood. I don't think 5 levels will help justify it as a full blown game, so I'd like to know what's going on.

I was right.

The server will remain closed until next week.

Must be big things he is working on. There will be a new version with a LOT of new stuff I hope. (Will there be a chat system?) If a new version is released next week, download that version and use it.

EDIT: Pixel had added more Purple Crawlers into the server. Now there are FOUR of them that will go after you with the shield (Map Coordinates 0, 4). He also added two shade tiles at the pathway to the shield room (Map Coordinates 4, 3). The date room is messed up. (Map Coordinates 2, 0).

that's a screenshot of the first boss in guxt, just yellow instead of white.
I think NICALIS is double res-ing (and recoloring?) guxt and releasing it or wii.

It should be for iPhone

That tannish Ikachan is actually an easter egg from level one, if you get both weapons.

Server is now gone, not available for download anymore. Post abandoned. I think Pixel is taking a break from developing. (Summer?) He will just only open and close the server every weekend.

Last 2 weeks:

EDIT 6/27/10: I will no longer make any announcements of Soaprun until pixel adds anything new and/or releases a new version. This post will be edited solely for server open/close with the same version only. This post will be left alone when a new version comes out.

I on the other hand prefer to play guxt with actual buttons so I would love to see it on the psp. You just need to configure the control input for holding the screen sideways in order to get a vertical screen. It's been done in commercial shmups before if I recall.

I don't know, but it'd be easier to find if we could understand you better, though.
I'll try, anyhows.
I'll assume you're talking about Soaprun? {'Cause the only other multiplayer game from Pixel so far is Akantares, but so few little people play that at any given time that it's nearly impossible to find a random online match}
First, download it from Pixel's site. Then, run it.
Presto, the multiplayer thingy is there!
Soaprun won't play without being able to connect to the server, so if it's running, you're playing online with any given number of other Soaprunners, just watch for other square-ish guys running around.
I believe the number middle-left-ish is the number of how many people are online at the current point in time.
