oops. I may have just moved literally everything in the hacks folder of my pull request and then shoved 40 brand-new XML's into there. You have an entire discord server producing patches and editors and hoarding up these hackinator files and it's about time I got my shit together and collect everyone's files for github.

So uh yeah, hope you weren't busy. The Hackinator is finally becoming a serious format 3 years later.

A couple of weeks ago someone in the server mentioned a problem with the spur editor (some dumb pixel-code thing) and I fixed it back then. I'm more inclined to fix it if it relates to me, and I'll be more open to using github instead of just hoarding for months.

Sometime mid January I basically had this folder zipped up and asked people to try it out and tell me any concerns. I haven't heard anyone having issues. I didn't write all of these files but they haven't been notified of problems either. Most of these are by-request and so I think most of them have been used by at least somebody, though cross-compatibility is another thing entirely.

EDIT: OH yeah and there were like 2 XML's I said "I'll finish this later" or something, like weapon effect modes and vanilla bullets not really having any editors. Also I still never explained bullet families lol. Wonder how I should approach that.

Now that Enlight is almost done with his end of the deal I guess I have to make all 350+ haxinator patches that let you change the framerects for all the npcs.

Making the hackinator version of TSC+ much easier to work with, at the cost of my sanity in having to use a language as convoluted as XML. :greydroll:

Well, here's the behemoth of the TSC+ xml file if anyone wants to try it (right click and Save Link As for download).

It's currently in beta right now, and there's stuff that I do wanna update on (guide page on my website since i can't see the BL guides anyway, transferring code from the NPC307 slot to a different spot with free space, maybe more TSC commands? No <IMG, tho). I'll release the full pack with the xml file, bitmaps, and the DouA version when that's all finished! :mrgreen:

I've said this multiple times while you've been working on this, but You're doing the work of god.

The only thing this really needs is to be able to work with BionicBot's TSC package (I realize just now that there's no link to it on the forums anywhere...) , and Zxin's <CND hack. I'd prefer the one he made that changes all variables, but I guess it's still for "personal use only" right now and I'm too busy to remake it at the moment.

But yes this is very good/almost perfect as is now.

Probably not as useful, but here's an XML file for the <IMG command. Uses the 2nd <FAC command instead of being part of TSC+, however.

Ever wanted to use Booster's Lab, which is superior to Cave Editor in every aspect... except for the fact that you can't modify the bitmap file extensions? Well, that minor nitpick is now fixed!

Now BL is as equally powerful as CE, and there is no reason to not give the program a try. Right click here and Save Link as to download.

Normally I'd say that I still prefer the old version where placing entities is done with doubleclick but ever since I got my pc I switched from touchpad to drawing tablet so this may actually be neat, even for me.

Inspired from @Kim Tyranto's latest status post, you can now use up to 4 unique MyChars simultaneously through <VAR!

<VAR0006:YYYY still works for the player sprites, you can pick one of the writable 116 variables for the Quote NPCs, don't forget to document them somewhere, in case you forget.:p

I hope I didn't mess up plugging in the RAM values for the variables, I had to double check several times to make sure...

Having issues with the entity cap? Not sure what's causing it to prevent other entities from showing up? Here's a hack that will allow you to check on that for debugging purposes! Make sure to backup your executable for when you're done debugging!
