Okay, so, a while back I was thinking about how there weren't any Cave Story non-sprite comics*, and then I was like "I should make one!"

And then I never did. Until summer came along and I suddenly had free time for the first time since LAST summer.

here ya go

*Although since then an awesome one by two awesome people has been created. And there's nothing wrong with sprite comics at all 8)

...Anyways, hope someone out there enjoys it!

Is there a sprite comic that's silly without seriously damaging the plot?

Well, I can't speak for Cave Story since I haven't really read the sprite comics for it, but it can be done well. I imagine it would be tricky seeing as sprite comics are much more easily geared towards humour than drama/action.
They get a bad rep because they're so easy to make--thus people with less experience and skill are attracted to them. Meaning bad comics. Some are actually really good though, given the constraints.

(but I was mostly trying to avoid conflict because I'm a pacifist >_>)

It looks like there are a few more comics around than I thought. I'll definitely give them a look (=

Comic status--page 4 is almost done being lined, so I should have it up by Wednesday (optimistically). Page 5's been sketched too!

Oh, I assumed the front page would show the latest comic. In fact, I'd prefer it if it did.

Also, if I recall correctly, the default newspost is automatically deleted when you make a newspost of your own.
