• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

I think the excitement he would feel on the way there justifies the dissapointment he would feel after he gets there.

Are you certain the Ma Pignon's abilities would work on humans?

Yes thats a good idea, now that all the thread makers problems have been solved, let's discuss whether Ma Pignon would work on a human, I personally think it would because that Cthulu brought it up and he's human isn't he? Well hes definately organic.

That just helped me develop a theory - what if Quote and Curly were built using magic? I mean, it would've made sense, coz we don't really know if magic was restricted to the island.

Well if they were made with magic, not machine, that would make them homunculi.

I don't think magic was restricted to the island, since Jenka and Ballos were magic users ages ago; before staying on the island... I'd say at least it would be possible, I doubt Jenka and Ballos just happened to be the only magic users in the world; without some great explanation...

As for Q and C being built by magic? I don't think robots are probably built by magic... But then again perhaps technology has been able to harness magic in some form. Or perhaps Quote and Curly are special... due to something that happened on the island.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Or they were built more efficiently than the common soldier type.

We can ask the magic expert - Metalogz .
Or they were made using technology but enhanced by magic.

Starfox 64 reference for the win.

And although the main subject is closed, might it be about The Zealous Caves Mod and not the original Cave Story?
I couldn't get the Gum Key myself because Igor wasn't in the Shoe House when I imported an old save from demo release 1.0 to the current one... I had to restart because of that...

Perhaps they were given some kind of magical essence from one of Miakid's attacks, which enabled the Ma Pignon's memory restoring abilities to work, but this is mere spectulation on my part... It's really up to Metalogz to make the final decision. Like Roonil Wazlib stated, Metalogz IS the MAGIC EXPERT!
