Depends. What's the prequel going to focus on?
Also, do you understand the effort/hacking involved in making new weapons?

It's not that easy, actually. You need great knowledge of x86 Assembly. As for the idea, I say it would be pretty cool.

I know virtually nothing about assembly, but I imagine it could be hacked together from some aspects of the fireball and missile launcher. (Fireball for the gravity, missile launcher for the BOOOOOOOM!)

If you think they do their job well and could be used productively in boss fights, I say yes.

If you think it's a freaking cool hack or you are proud of it or you feel like others would like to see it, put it in. If not, don't.

Oh, hell yeah, if you've already made it, by all means put it in! I applaud your quiet, yet impressive entry to the CS modding community!

Any chance we could get a demo any time soon? Please?

Interesting. Can't wait to see the grenades, then.

What'd be REALLY cool though, is if you had them hurled by a separate button! (ie: a different key input, and set them up with their own HUD display) Kind of like bombs in metroid. Except well, I imagine you chuck them.

Hm, flamethrower?
Interesting.

Are you going to use a couple of large bullets, one flame shaped bullet, or a brazillion particle-sized bullets?

Not that it matters, but I think number two would have the greatest bang/buck. Ie, number one is an easy hack, but looks sorta unprofessional, and number three would be almost impossible to pull off.

I hope you do number three.

What if you made the fireball's ammo explode like the missiles? But keep the ammo unlimited(Cause that would be pretty hard to get more ammo for a hacked weapon,...maybe...)

It's like bragging without bragging

I don't know why some of you guys are hyping yourself up over just a few words...
We've had dozens of promising and potentially great mods and modders around for a long time, and 99% of the stuff never gets finished. These guys also usually had a lot more, demos and screenshots, than just a question.
Colour me skeptical, but I'm going to wait for a Demo of said 'new weapons'. The main topic of this thread, combined with the quality of new users, puts great doubt in me.
Be happy to eat said words if my doubt is proven wrong, of course.

Ahahah, how many times this has been said, only to be proven wrong...
I really do hope my doubts are for nothing, but things repeat themselves so easily.
