Funny April fools joke I played on unsuspecting Youtubers

Well for one, I'm not sure what I would change it to. And second, even then, the final version has been out ever since right before April of last year, and I'm done making tweaks to this mod. The reason I don't want to make any more releases isn't entirely because I'm lazy, but also because I'd have to have andwhy re-port it, and I don't want to go to the trouble to do that.

Heheheh, a guy just TASed the game in reply to my video in an attempt to get the fourth ending, in case any of you were interested in seeing.

I mean, all it takes is a Google of "Hayden Studios Cave Story Fourth Ending" and a minutes or two of reading to figure out it's a mod.

Yes, I said in my second video that getting to the Sand Zone no more than 17 minutes after Toroko's kidnapping was one of the extra requirements for getting the fourth ending that people were missing, and that it was why some people weren't getting it after my first video.

Watching people do things like this is quite entertaining, to say the least.

That video has no comments as of yet, but I do wonder what the creator will think when he/she finds out it's not in the regular game at all

Oh yes. I'm not sure what puts a wider smile on my face, seeing another person upload a video of them self playing my mod, or another person uploading a video of trying to get the fourth ending.

I think I fell for this the first time I saw this, but it was after I found the forums/found the Mod. I then realized the date and laughed. Also...
"You can not get this ending in Cave Story 3D" God if that's true, I'm going to have to shoot something... (The site even said "Do everything right, and you might even be able to save his new Mimiga friends!" Also the fact that you said that it's possible in every game except CS3D, I do think your faking this part.) It would also give me no reason to buy CS3D now...

Let's put it like this: it was kinda evil to make the nonexistant timer start all the way back from the first Balrog fight. No one should be tricked into going through the Grass Town fetch quests several times in a row. It would have been better for everyone's sanity if the time limit was much shorter but starting after the second Balrog fight

Also, I could POSSIBLY get to sandzone within 17 minutes. I was able to beat 2'40"0 for Sacred Grounds challenge.

I don't know about that. Even if you get the normal ending, the epilogue scenes show everyone pretty much unharmed. Jenka, Malco, Dr. Gero and Nurse Hasumi, and all the maps appear to be pretty much the same as they were before. I really don't think they all die in the normal ending.

 

I thought you programmed a bot that uses various proxies to upload insane amounts of meatspin network videos to youtube.
