Favourite Major Boss?

After the "Favourite Weapon", "Favourite Character" and the new "Favourite Enemy" thread. I've decided to open a Favourite Boss thread.

Mine is The Core.

 

Ballos, no question.

 

MX, although Undead Core comes a close second.

I really don't want to sound like a parrot copying everything it hears, but Monster X is my favorite, as well. Ballos is 2nd on my list and Undead Core comes 3rd (Undead Core has quite the potential of being a good Shoot-Em' Up style boss, too)

 

Balfrog, he's just awesome

 

I like the Core for the music, and the main ending-deciding-choices being situated around it.

I chose the Core! I love the setting where the Core battle takes place, and it really sets up a decisive moment. It isn't that easy of a battle either..! There's just a coolness about the Core.

Undead Core isn't a favorite because of the Doctor is Ewwwww and EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

and uh Heavy Press came in a close second... I fought so hard getting that far in hell, and finally killed Heavy Press...

You can imagine what happened to me next.

Ballos is the ultimate boss, but not my favorite. He's tough and you get to fight all his forms at once, but...
I can't put my finger on it, but... something's missing to make it my favorite.

Omega is the tard, and a frogger is well... a frog.
Monster X has a little coolness being all mobile, but the battle is just kinda there. Like Surprise!! MONSTER X ATTACK!! I miss the suspense [still it was a cool battle]

I can't remmeber the other bosses... *checks*
EDIT: The Sisters were kinda neat. And uh Ironhead was a blockhead

Also, Ironhead isn't a major boss by any standard. Misery was more major than he was.

 

He is, while Misery isn't. Game programming tells me, no doubt.

 

I say I can't decide. All the bosses have good potential, and become about 20x as fun if you add falling blocks. P:

You must really like a challenge, it seems.

(If I was in ZTaimat's position... Ballos + 3 HP run + Falling blocks = Oh, frick... Yeah, I'm not THAT good, yet!)

 

it would be 40x as fun if it was ballos in a flooded area with blocks falling, and the water has gravity pushing you a certain way~! [Did I mention instant death spikes on the sides of the room]

I agree with Kageryushin - Misery > Sisters > Ironhead.

 

Ironhead is a Major Boss, Sue's Workshop says so.
