Discusion: Cave Story 3 ~ The Crowned Witch

What is the filename? ___.pbm or ___.bmp.pbm? And what do you mean by its not working?

Oh sht I think I put it as .bmp.pbm lol. Oooops I'll go check it out.

Edit - Erm... I put it such that I use a Default Program (Pain) To open the file so... I can't see the extension part of the file name. Now what D:

Edit - FIXED IT! IT WORKS! I think... It appears as a PBM file now. YAHOOO GONNA TRY IT!!!! THANKS MAN YOU RULE!

 

Hm, I don't know how to help you. But I also put it such as that I'll open .pbm files in Paint by default, however, I can see the extension. :/

Oh yeah ever since you taught me how to edit the .pbm files i've edited some of my own ^^. Try it. Check out the fire ball. It looks like a meteor... And also the fireball, Nemesis, Rocket Launcher and so on.

This is my VERY FIRST attempt to edit .pbm files so... don't espect too much please

I like the dragon design, works perfectly.

You jpg'd it? Thats a no-no. Or you tried uploading it as a bmp. Well, most image hosters turn bmps into jpgs, so what I'd suggest you to do is to DUPLICATE your edits, and save that copy as a png. Unless you have a program that can save in gif format without screwing the colors up. (Like Photoshop)

To SP: Since I can't do the dragon is there anything else I can do in the meantime. Actually, can you possibly create a list of what sprites need to be made along with the sprites they are to replace.

Also it would be nice if someone could make the titlescreen more cooler, maybe use a nice blue and cyan?

I'm using www.photobucket.com to upload the images so they're not very sharp...

Don't use Photobucket. Use ImageShack, it'll turn your .bmps into .pngs (Its good quality, don't worry). Remember to tick "Remove thumbnail" or something.

Sorry I went off and did my own thing for a moment there before hearing about the blue and cyan, don't worry, it's in 16 colours.

Oh I made a cool weapon ^^ I made the sword into a Boomerang!

Maybe you would wanna use it as one of your weapons for this game?
