@Cripple Chair: That little bit of detail did pay off. Nad the Mahin sprite looks reallu hood too. He always did like to eat...

and hey guys. Are you gonna make multiple maps for the game (like how in zombies theres kino der toten, der riese and five to name a few).

Well I've mentioned doing it a few times but looking back no ones agreed with me... did anyone have any objections to that?

Two things. First is my character sprites:

It sounds like it would be a title theme more than a level theme though.

Pretty good, the only thing I would change is the 'hurt' sprite. It doesn't seem fitting for a zombie to be freaking out when it gets hit, it'd just shrug it off. Also, when it turns around, the wound should stay on the same side of the head (Sorry, I'm picky about that).

I wasn't sure if this next one was fitting or not, so I thought I'd run it by you guys before making a full, usable sheet.

Yeah that looks pretty good. And for zombie shrooms, they would not use the hurt sprite until they die. Other then that they run toward you. When you hit them other times they just shake a bit, but they run undetered. Basicly, they only do this :) when their health reaches zero, then they explode. Also, the wound is still on the correct side. If they turn around it would turn with them.

Incorrect. Since there are two eyes equally spaced on the pignon, it will be on the left or right side. The back is behind the sprite.

Alrighty, I gotcha on the damage thing, that works. Although, the wound looks like it's on the side of the head, not the back, thus it wouldn't turn with the shroom.

Also: Hi Isaac. :mahin:

Also also: I like the song, especially the background warning horn-esque bit. It's short, so it gets repetitive kinda fast, but otherwise it's great.

I don't know why I thought of doing Isaac but who cares? IT'S EPIC!
And the song is no finished product. It's just a remake of one someone else did earlier.

I'm actually half-thankful for the slower day today. I can get some work done without worrying 'oh crap, what am I missing on the thread?'

EDIT: Made more of the Misery sprites! I like 'em.

Row 1: Idle
Row 2: Basic attack. I envision some slashes jetting out in front of her, sort of like the character's melee, but much larger and she slides forward a little while attacking.
Row 3: Jumping, including the initial crouch and midair animation
Row 4: Death. During the screech, the sprite shakes for a little bit, then stops. Cue gradual transition through the other three.

I imagine I'll need to draw more for a few other attacks, but this is what I have for now.

Edit edit: Minor edit to the eyes.

Hm... I suppose I'll give some thought on a name for mine.

Also, minor update of the Misery sheet, I forgot to shade the eyes.

Edit: Omega and Zero... immediately the Megaman Zero series came to mind and I cannot unthink.
