Chrono Trigger

I've played Chrono Trigger and beat it the game. There are 12 endings in this game. I've gotten the true ending. Since, I've beaten the game. I'm thinking of giving the ds port of Chrono Trigger a try.

 

What did you like about the game? Is the DS port different?

 

One of the things I like about the game is the story, multiple endings in the game and you can change the difficulty of the game. The DS Port is Different than the original snes port by having extra content and have some the translation of the game to look like the original Japanese version. The problem with the ds port is that it's small. And I recommend you play it on the dsi xl, 3ds xl or new 3ds xl. The ds and snes copy of this game were really expensive and the only way to play it is on an emulator.

 

I have the cart, i just need either the SNES or an FC Twin (old FC Twin broke years ago).

 

Well that sucks. You can get the SNES or an SFC on Ebay for like $90 to $200.

Has anyone played any of the Chrono Trigger rom hacks?

 

The whole five or so of them that change more than a couple minor things yeah

I haven't tried Schala Edition yet but it's good to see the game have a bit of a modding scene revival.

 

I would like to give some rom hacks of Chrono Trigger a try.

 

I went through this game to the end when I was 6 years old. And it seems that I had an ending connected with the king and his daughter. I'm not sure since it was over 35 years ago)

That's a first, a german shop ad. Man these bots are really desperate to use almost dead forum boards to advertise their scams.
Also, I used to have a Chrono Trigger on my DS until I broke it by wanting to see what was inside of it and inadvertently breaking it (I was too curious for my own good as a child) . I'm not that much of an RPG guy but from what I remembered, it was quite fun. Not sure if I should get it again or not.
