This thread needs a revive. Also, I wanted to ask people if they know any good comedians?

The stand-up kind? Russell Peters, Demetri Martin, Lewis Black, or watch some of these if they're available outside of Canada.

If you don't mind language/profanity then Dane Cook is good. For clean humor, if you've not seen Kevin James's "Sweat the Small Stuff" routine, then I recommend seeing it.
If you want to watch something funny that isn't stand up, then watch some classic Adam Sandler or Jim Carrey.
If these do not fit your needs, would you be so kind as to list your tastes in comedy?
Finally, if you do not mind, would you explain why you need to laugh? Just haven't laughed in a while? Or what's up?

I hope the suggestions will help you. And I do agree with Captain Fabulous about Canadian comedians, at least in that they are funnier than Americans at least (if there's anything the Last Comic Standing taught me, it's that). British comedy is among the best as well.

It's been in the same place for over two years, and both andwhyisit and SP never have done anything about it. If it's becoming that bad just simply close it.

 

I don't want to close it, I think it got more overlooked than anything

 

I feel like the forums need a slight clean-up/rearranging at the moment so I'm probably going to do it bit by bit on impulse

I can also move threads both ways
