main issues:
why do I have 3 HP and then fight that thing
why are there bugs that can literally push me off the platform/kill me
why are there flat edges in a CAVE
why is the cave so long

YES! GAME DOWNLOADS! Okay, time to address issues:

1. It's very difficult, but do-able, as far as I can tell. If you think he's honestly too difficult, I can nerf him a bit.
2. Bugs? Please provide screenshots/description, I didn't find any like that.
3. Because of it's manmade!
4. Because of... I don't know, I suppose I'll move the passageway a bit closer in the next update.

You didn't do anything to prevent the things from moving while the text was active. Really bad if you have gotten hit before. Also, you can save during the boss fight.

Red Demon
boss fight.

Thanks. Also, you may want to utilize the fill feature, as you can place all 4 tiles for the base ground at the same time. One tile there can be very ugly, and allows you to see whether or not the level is custom made.

This mod's level design is unnecessarily wide open and empty. Not much reason for it, and the Egg Corridor flying enemy guys aren't well placed. It's just "OH here's a swarm bugs out of nowhere." It is fun to avoid the critters without a gun, but First Cave did the same thing but much better.

Looks like someone got lazy with the tiles. Try using the rectangle tool next time to fill the area consistently.

It was definitely not designed for this type of terrain, nor is it at all fun to do it with a level 1 Polar Star (which you will almost definitely have unless you grind the flying bugs before the door).

Okay. That was a very detailed and handy review, thank you very much for your feedback! Game will be featuring more <PRI (and possibly other things although probably nothing more than small bug fixes) soon!
Also I have to ask, is there a way to fill in terrain quicker then placing hundreds of 4x4 areas? Because you're right, I did get very lazy after a while.

Sure. Level design will be improved when I get more time, it requires more consideration than 'change some script' or 'screw with some numbers'.
=IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT RED DEMON NERF=
I know very little about nerfing. As such, I have only changed his health. Any hit from him will still instantly kill you. If you have the level 3 Polar Star, (which isn't very hard to get) you can defeat him in 25 hits. This seems good enough to me. I haven't tested the nerf because it's 8:00 and I'm going to Brazil tomorrow at 5:30 and I'm not very good at bosses anyway. If the nerf needs to be improved, feel more than free to yell at me.

Boss notes:
(or:how to train your demon)
The boss can be defeated with some luck,by using the central platform as a shield.
Just as he lands on the floor(or before for safety),jump to the central platform...and get onto the floor before he reaches the central platform again!
While on the floor,fire like mad.
He is a LOT easier to defeat if you grind on the enemies in the main level(using another level,or saving then suiciding,to respawn them) so your Polar Star is at level 3.Extra HP will not help unless you have 7 hearts or more(boss damage was 6 hearts apparently),which is impossible in this demo.
Bugs(or a lack of them):
Note:This is only what I saw,others may see more.
This is running under Wine-Compholio 1.7.28.
Essentially visual:Polar Star can be 'found' multiple times via any method that respawns NPCs.This is entirely visual,and will not appear in the Arms menu.
Probably intentional: Boss follows some code of honor,and will not strike first.
This could be justified by what little story we have (i.e. 'master would be unpleased if I attacked you without fair reason,so strike me first!'),but is most certainly gameplay related.
So,for a 3-level mod,going great!

I thought I set flags that would prevent the Polar Star from being obtained twice. If you would, kindly tell me what you are doing that respawns every NPC. Also, I'm aware the f the fact that the Red Demon won't shoot first, and although I'd like him to, I'd have to do some Assembly Hacking. (Which may be happening soon!)
