It might be better to ask him to save it as MusicXML, which Finale can indeed open. Of course, you could also just open one of the MIDI files in Finale.

Ok, so checking Sebastian's site (http://cavestory.sebastianwolff.info) gives me an 500 server error. Can somebody e-mail me (Trump3t3r@gmail.com) the piano collections music in its entirety? I can't wait to play these.
