I kinda prefer him with no mouth, because if he had to say something, they would have to make it move.

Also, I don't like the GREEN scarf, though I am not insulting Pixel, he has his tastes, we have ours.

Yeah, well, the scarf has always been green. I don't know where people got the impression that it was red. Probably one or two guys who thought "Hey wouldn't it be neat if it was red" and drew some pictures and all the people who didn't notice the two pixels on the back of Quote's neck thought those pictures were accurate.
HOW DO YOU MISS THOSE TWO PIXELS? YOU SEE THEM EVERY TIME YOU TALK TO SOMEONE.

I know, I have seen the small little scarf, but the red (to me) looks more fitting with the rest of his outfit, but again, that's me (though it does go with the small green antenna where his ears should be). Not like it matters either way, heh heh...

Well, I know I did, and if they have cave story lite or dark as their theme for here, you can see his 3 pixel scarf as well. Or, I'm just crazy, and am seeing things...

Because they look like pointy green ears right now. The first time I played Cave Story I thought that's what it was, and the other antennae was a green nose, and the eye closest to the back of his head was a sideburn. He was a crazy lookin' dude, let me tell you.

I saw him like that at first and liked the illusion that he wasn't staring slightly more at the screen and not what's in front of him like someone with a brain problem. Then the new sprite bothered me because now you can't pretend he doesn't look autistic.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but would you trust a special child with the fate of the world?

As for that post that VoidMage managed to slip in before mine, I am PUMPED. Considering the amount of reading involved in Cave Story, this is one of the most important changes they've made. WOO NEW WORDS TO READ! I SHOULDN'T BE THIS EXCITED WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME.
