30 days then a pop-up will appear every time when you opened it but then wait a few seconds then you can use it again. You can use it for ever. I use mIRC till now.

Yeah, that is illegal and forum administrators certainly don't want it on their webspace. You should get rid of that.

Plus, As much as i think mIRC is alright, If your just getting into IRC, you could try the free Xchat. Xchat is pretty freaking sweet, but on Windows (which I presume everyone here runs) you must grab an unofficial build (because the official ones cost money. But the software itself is free, and most unofficial builds are pretty damn nice.) But other than that, you can have a quite awesome configuration with a little bit of setup in Xchat.

Okay, well, I've out waited my boredom. I just realized the channel was on Espernet, too, nice choice. I think I'm gonna log on to it.

Well in this case I'd say don't worry. As long as you don't post you SHOULD be ok. Nothing illegal about claiming to use illegal software... So if you don't post anything that could get you in trouble ("Hey, I'm using mIRC illegally!" means nothing, as there is absolutely no proof, and no illegal texts. "Hey, heres my serial number for mIRC: [serial number]" is both illegal and proves that you were using or possess illegal software) You are generally in the green.

IANAL, but I'm almost sure that claiming you use illegal software isn't really a problem. I mean you might as well say it as a joke.

Anyways, off the subject of piracy, there was some genuine activity going on last night. If your thinking about joining, i'd recommend doing it, as long as your OK with the way IRC works (where you aren't always chatting when your on)
