Cave story+ for 3ds

EDIT: The game will be released October 4th, and will cost $9.99
It will have all of the challenges that Cave Story+ had on the PC (Wind Fortress, Boss Rush, Nemesis Challenge, and Hell Speedrun),
And Curly story. I'm looking forward to seeing the Wind Fortress with the old graphics.

 

Even if this is true what possible upgrade could this have over the existing 3ds version >_>
I can only imagine adding the challenges and uhhh... well that's it really.

I wouldn't say that Tyrone's "teasing an update" on CS+ mostly because he already said that on the forums and we already know and we're already beta testing the thing right now.

Even though it's just another rehashed version of the same damn game, of course I'm still going to get it! Challenges and leaderboards sound pretty cool, actually (Especially by 3DS standards).

 

I wish they'd postpone all these 3D remakes and release it for DSi :/

 

Or Release it as A Multi-platform Mega-Update for Everything, for previous owners, that works too.

Well they already made Cave Story for DSiWare, if that's what you mean. But if you mean just release CS+ as DSiWare instead of on the eShop, that's a great idea, too. If that were to happen, all we would be losing is the 3D, but that gimmick is useless and overrated, imo. >.<

 

I mean I wish they'd release it instead of constantly changing the release date. I want cave story on my DSi... I've been waiting for two years.

 

(In case anyone didn't know Kanpatchi does not live in North America like some of the other members and they haven't released Cave Story DSi in Kanpatchi's area yet)

Perfect timing, I just used all of my e-shop points on Colors 3d... Well, I'm really looking forward to this. It be easier to play on the DS.

same here. once i get the cash, i'll be getting that.

 

A bit of good news is that there will be other modes too. In Nintendo power it says it has " A jukebox mode, adjustable controls, and several challenge modes, including Boss Rush, Curly Story, Hell Time Attack, Wind Fortress, Nemesis Challenge, and possibly more."

This is amazing for me because I never got CS+ So I havent played Curly Story, Wind fortress, boss rush, or nemesis challenge. So this is great news for me. Plus, it comes out around my birthday. I hope Ikachan makes it on the eShop soon. Or DSi ware.

I couldn't find Cave story 3DS in shops anywhere. I was lucky enough to get It on amazon.co.uk Next day after ordering <_<
