Japanese remix CD
Hello all,

Remember the Remix Project from a couple years ago? Along the same lines, a link someone posted on Pixel's BBS pointed me to a page for Oide yo Doukutsu no Monogatari (the name's an Animal Crossing pun), a new CD of Cave Story music arrangements and fan art made by a doujin circle called Re:SPEC. It includes rearrangements in various styles of the title theme, Mimiga Town, Access, Meltdown 2, On to Grasstown, Jenka 1+2, Gravity, Moonsong (of course), Balcony, Last Battle, Mischievous Robot, and Toroko's Theme.

Unfortunately for fans outside of Japan, this, like most doujin materials, is apparently only available at conventions like Comiket and M3. (Although if you make it there, it's only 500 yen.) However, there are MP3 samples on the website.

And just to clarify, just like the Remix Project, this is a fan project and doesn't have Pixel's involvement.

Drew this a while ago actually. Was gonna color it in PS but never got around to it (plus my inking was too messy, anyway, you can still see some of the pencil lines and it ended up different from my sketch, which looked nicer). Slapped on a paraphrased version of my original script (which I forgot) just now. Didn't even add the bubbles, but you should be able to tell who's talking...

Anyway I always wondered where Curly got her Nemesis, so...

It's nice, though I don't really like the storyline of it.

I choose the CS Lite style because it is more pleasing to the eye, it is my visual preference, and that is the point of forum styles/skins. I always thought that the CS Original (CS MB? What does MB stand for?) style was ugly as [edit], it looks messy and cluttered, with sharp contrasts between colours that are not pleasing to the eye.

Anyway I just don't get the point of using light text on light text, makes no sense.
