the scanner i used to use was at my parents house, now i use my phone to sorta scan my pics >_>

 

Is there a way to scan my images from my scanner into Photoshop? Do I need a scanning program for that?

Try using blood and graphite dust.
And for blues and greens, you're SOL.
But you'll have everything from brown to really dark red.

comon give it a try, you can only really improve if you try, my drawings were really bad at first but now its....... alright so have a go

 

Although this may not be 'officially' fanart, I've got a self drawn sprite of Curly. I'll get one of Quote up later when I get around to drawing him.

Shown in both the coloration I used (Left) and the original sprite's color palette (Right). The white in the 'windows' is not intentional (It's supposed to be the background's transparency), so I appologize for that. She has the Machine Gun and a Booster equipped (The Booster hides the actual length of her hair, but it's better than having her hair over the Booster and clogging up something important). You might even notice the Spur she has, too.

The fanmade sprite of Curly on the Cave Story Tribute Site's fanart page beats mine by a long shot, if you ask me, but I didn't draw mine for competition purposes...

You can do a much better job at drawing than I can, so don't feel bad.

I always use Photoshop to colour. Anyway I used my pen to shade it so... No colours for this version =P

Next time though I might give it a try... =/

If you have a usb flash drive then you can do it directly from the machine without the use of software apparently.

I really should start keeping references of Cave Story characters in my file, or just try to memorise them as far as possible.
