Our oldest still active user (to my knowledge) is DT.

But the forums were around for 3 years before I showed up.

In regards to hell, floor 1 was easy, floor 3 I could get through no problem in the end, but floor 2's randomness was my undoing. And since every fight against Heavy Press (there were only around 3 or 4 attempts in the end if I recall) required for me to die several times on floor 2 and do a decent run of floor 3 only to die stuck between a heavy press lazor a Rolling and several Butes and start all over again. I was just over it and wanted to play some regular Cave Story again. I guess I just never returned to make another attempt. *shrug*

Yes, that is just about what happens to me when I try to traverse Hell also.
I suppose I should rephrase that I have "beaten Cave Story seven times". I've defeated the Undead Core seven times. I have gotten each weapon once, and five times through I tried Hell. Once I got to fight Ballos; I haven't gone back to try again. Hopefully all the testing I'm going to be doing on Cave Story+ (if I ever do get to test) will enable me to beat Ballos in CS3D.

That's fine. The ending wasn't really worth the struggle anyway. I could only beat it through profile hexing, which is embarrassing to say, but some of us weren't born with fingers of pure awesome.

For speed, can we make a list of who wants to test the PC version like so:

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to mention that in order to send and recieve private messages on this forum you need to meet some certain minimum post requirement. I think it's around 50 15?. It has been a long time so I am not certain off the top of my head..

However if the user has made their email publicly accessible then clicking on their name by their post will give an option to "Send email to ..." and I believe that works regardless of postcount.

Got it, so to people like me who have fresh accounts... Do we send the email to tyrone or does he send us a mail instead of PM? Oh, and before I forget, thanks for making the list. :(

So I've just confirmed you need 50 posts before you can PM (eg if you accept email from other users it's all dandy, but otherwise you need to work stuff out)
-- but as I type this it appears andwhy is adminerating!

Who knows what the future may hold!
