He was obviously talking to his evil and incompetent alternate personality, Ticonderoga.

who are you talking to in that last post
It's not like someone went and hid their posts in shame after Noxid replied to them. Why would anyone do that?

that doesn't make my question any less valid :/

e: also they may have hidden their post before he replied and he didn't notice the posts didn't actually exist or something; I feel like he's mentioned not noticing posts were hidden before. really no need to be so snarky, gir.

I never said it made your question less valid, I was just answering it indirectly. In case you didn't figure it out, my snarkiness there wasn't aimed at you.

Also it's pretty hard to not notice a post being hidden after the fact since you have to click a button as a moderator to actually read them (they don't show up as posts, more of as "THIS POST WAS HIDDEN (click here to read anyways)" ).

Yeah, anyway...
I was feeling generous today, and threw together a neat new feature for BL
Under the "File" menu in V0.4.1.3 and above, you'll find a new option, "Export Mod". This will prompt you for a directory, and it will copy ONLY the files used by your mod to this directory (so it's best to make sure that it's empty beforehand!)
With this, you can minimize the file size before you zip the mod to distribute. It's just a nice thing to do.

Note that it won't be able to find DoConfig or Config.dat if you've changed the names of them, and it won't account for any weird shit if you've hacked the game to need more special files (TIMG being a notable example), so you'll have to copy those manually.

Grab it here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42853625/Permanent/BoostLab_0413.zip

Uhh... yeah. Tried to run the usual Command Prompt line to run this darn editor (java -jar "C:\Users\mypcname\Desktop\BoostLab_0413\BoostLab_0413.jar") and after two seconds it just stops. Every single time.

Java SE Runtime Environment is at version 1.7.0_21-b11.

This happened with Booster's Lab version 0413. Version 0412 simply gave me a mess of error lines in Command Prompt.

Something I'm missing here?

can you paste the error, there should be some kind of log.0 file or similar. it's just a text file.
Otherwise you can run 0412 where I forgot to redirect the output to a log.

Side note: if it looks similar to what's described here then I don't really know how to fix it other than redownloading stuff

Heh, yeah, that's pretty much what both the 0412 and 0413 (the 0 file) errors looks like. I have doubts redownloading is going to help here at all.

Any other suggestions or programs (java-openers or just other editors instead) you can recommend?

you could try... reinstalling java, since that was one of the suggested fixes
otherwise I'm pretty sure the only thing that will run Java is Java. OpenJDK is the only other option I'm aware of there.

The only other option for editors is Cave Editor.

Cave Editor was my original go-to up until it refused to actually save my work upon closing/re-opening. Hence why I tried Booster'sLab. Asked in another thread about it but didn't get answers concerning CE itself.

Also my bad on the re-install suggestion, thought you meant the editors. Will try it and see how it goes.

And worth mentioning is how some jar's require classnames to be specified before execution, if that rings any bells.
