Ballos Story

ballos story? dead?

it looks really good.. im dying to play this mod.
maybe i can start working on changing the story line to reverse cave story.
as in, instead of jenka there will be curly (another soldier from the surface which connects to ballos - quote... like jenka is connected to ballos etc)..
so... does anyone have the game files for this mod?

actually there was some text edit. also the booster has somewhat a different "system" to it.

Well with that video it shouldn't be hard to reproduce the entire mod in the space of half an hour
The booster is just using runelancer's imperfect 'Infinite Booster' hack. I think it requires hex editing approx. one number.

its infinite, but also, it speeds up with time.
i dont know about runelancer's imperfect infinite booster... might be simillar but just pointing that out.
how about reviving the mod?
i have no skill what so ever in mod making.
tonight im going to read some stuff about this, try to create some weapon mods map mods and dialogue.
ive downloaded all the files i could find on this topic and i could send you links to save time. do you feel like doing it? :debug:

I had a copy of the original lying around, so I applied my graphics (which happens to litter this thread) back into the mod, zipped it with the original, and presto, new download link:

isnt this suppose to have infinite booster and some other booster scripts?

No. BadBeholder added that in manually himself to make the video, it wasn't part of the mod.
